The Wall Street Journal just posted an article about Lindy Hop on July 9th. You can read the full article here. The article is designed to promote the Lincoln Center’s Midsummer Nights Swing series.
Accompanying the article is a video piece about Lindy Hop that talks about Frankie Manning and contains lots of footage from the Frankie 95 celebration in New York City. At the 55 second mark, you can see Alana Hock dancing in church at the Frankie Memorial services
It is great to see news coverage of Lindy Hop and Swing Dancing. Hopefully this will help to raise the awareness of the dance.
